WHO WE ARE:
Alan Whitehead founded the Solstice Run race event in 2003 held annually in Northville, MI and the Wicked Halloween Run in 2011 & ShamRock 'n' Roll Run in 2012 both held in Plymouth, MI. Alan was on the Race Staff at the Detroit Free Press Marathon for three years and the Race Director of the Parade Company's annual Detroit Turkey Trot for two years. Kona Running Company is organizing the Solstice Run with a 10 Mile, 10K, 5K & Maui Mile.
We will donate funds to local charitable organizations. We are donating funds from the Solstice Run to benefit local charitable & non-profit organizations like the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Northville Parks & Rec Dept., Kids against Hunger and the Northville Educational Foundation.
