- 10 Mile, 10K, 5K USATF Certified Courses: Run famous "KONA HILL" - challenging hill at 3/4 mile mark on 10 Mile and 10K courses
- 10 Mile Run (Qualifier Rule): All Participants must maintain a 12 Minute per Mile pace or less in 10 Mile; details on "Registration" page
- Powerade ION Drinks: provided at 7.5 mile mark in the 10 Mile Run and at 4 mile mark in the 10K Run. GU Energy Gel packets: provided at the 5 Mile mark in the 10 Mile Run only. See other Absopure Fluid Water Station locations on course maps.
- Start at Northville Downs: 10 Mile, 10K & 5K participants run first 1/2 mile around horse track; Maui Mile event is ran 2 times around the track
- New 5K Two Wave Start: "Luau Wave" at 8:45 am (10 min/mile & under pace) and "Hula Wave" at 8:55 am (above 10 min/mile pace)
- B-Tag Timing: (ChronoTrack) for 10 Mile, 10K, 5K & Mile events
